Walt Disney World- Day 1

April 5th- 5:30am came too quick! We got up, dressed and at the bus by 6:30am! We had the bus all to ourselves.

No Crowd Equals Amazing Picture

We were at the Magic Kingdom by 7:15am, for our 8:05am ADR at Be Our Guest! They normally allow people in for their ADRs about 7:50-8am, except for this day. They had repaved some areas on Main St overnight that weren't dry yet. So they held us back til about 8:15am. Man, this wait was killing me!!! Our first trip with a pre park breakfast, and hoping to get a picture in front of the castle with just a few people was slowly fading. They finally let us in and down Main St we go! The castle is amazing! I'm feeling like a kid again. Disney just has that magic!! There was a photopass photographer on our way to Be Our Guest!!! We stopped and got a couple pictures!!! It was awesome!

After pictures, we headed through the castle and into Fantasyland! It's amazing and so different from Disneyland!

So beautiful
We made it to the restaurant with plenty of time. They direct us to where stroller parking is and he goes with Nathan to park it. Nathan so excited to be there, gets out of the stroller and falls. Scraps up his knee, full on tears. Man, not a great start to this magical day. He cheered up as we headed inside.

Thankfully I had preordered our food before left home, so our wait wasn't horrible. We get done about 20 mins before rope drop is to happen. Thankfully they had already started letting those with ADRs line up for rides. Our first ride was Peter Pan, Nathan wasn't big on it so we only did that once.

Next up, It's A Small World, he loved this ride!

Next we headed to Haunted Mansion, but it was closed at the moment. So we headed to adventure land. We planned to do Pirates, but Nathan saw the Magic Carpet(which is like dumbo), so we went on that first. He LOVED this ride.

After that ride, we went on Pirates, which again he wasn't a fan of. By this time, it was almost 10am, time for our first fastpass!!! So we headed to 7 Dwarf Minetrain! Nathan and I had been watching YouTube videos of this ride for weeks, so he was excited for it too! With the fastpass, we had maybe a 5 min wait. It's finally our turn. Nathan wanted to sit with me and we were in the front!!! This ride is a family style roller coaster, so it was fairly tame.

After 7dmt, we headed over to the Teacups. Nathan enjoyed this ride as long as it wasn't spinning much. After we got off, we saw Alice and head over to her, but we were too late and she was heading to her break. So we decided to head over the the Winnie the Pooh ride. This line was long, but amazing. It has an interactive cue line to keep kids busy. It defiantly helped keep Nathan busy. After Winnie the Pooh, we took a water break. Gotta love free ice water at any quick service location!! That helps out a lot. Then we headed over to the Little Mermaid ride. Again, it was starting to get busy and the lines were getting long.

After Little Mermaid, we decided we would jump on the train and grab some lunch. Well that plan fizzled fast. We got on the train and Nathan crashed. So we rode the train for about a half hour.

Out Cold

We got off at the Main St station and decided we would just head back to the hotel for lunch. So we headed down from the station and grabbed a balloon before leaving. While Rick and Nathan got the balloon, Pluto showed up in the front hub for a meet and greet! So we stood in line so Nathan could meet him!!

So after Nathan got to meet Pluto, we headed out to catch the bus back. Late afternoon and evening were a blur. I know we had dinner at the resort.
